Area Manager – North England
We are looking for a charismatic driven individual for a UK based Area Manager role covering the North England territory. This position requires you to sell a range of products falling into the Toy and Gift category for two major brands, Siku and The Irish Fairy Door Company.  The role involves identifying and selling to new accounts as well as managing existing accounts.   
Commitment and the ability to build long-term customer relationships is essential to attract repeat business.


Job Description

This position covers a large geographical territory encompassing Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Durham, Cleveland, Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire, Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Cheshire. Ideally we would like you to be located central to the territory around either Manchester, or on M61, M65, or M66 motorway corridors.

Key Skills Required for the Role:

  • Previous field sales experience
  • The ability to analyse a region to successfully identify all potential stockists
  • Demonstrate repeated effort and resilience when overcoming a number of obstacles to achieve a result
  • The ability to convert a potential stockist into a customer
  • Confident and engaging presentation skills and an excellent level of listening skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to plan and manage own time, taking into account priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A high level of self-motivation with a genuine desire to meet and surpass targets
  • Excellent communication skill both written and verbal
  • The ability to plan and prioritise a large territory to arrange meetings with a wide range of customers, utilising overnight stays where necessary

As a business development executive you will be given an attractive package in excess of £30,000 which includes:
