Smart-Trike is delighted to announce they were named ‘Best Play Brand’ in the inaugural Nursery Industry awards
The awards were not only shortlisted by experts in the industry it was decided by a public vote making this a very special award indeed! Smart-Trike were delighted that they have so many supportive fans who seem to understand the importance of traditional outdoor play. This year Smart-Trike™ has been working very hard to ensure little ones spend plenty of time exploring the great outdoors. In January they carried out a survey and discovered that 20% of families only play outdoors once a week. Keen to change this, they launched a campaign to encourage outdoor play and set up a monthly photo competition with babyworld.co.uk for parents to share photos of their children having fun playing outside.
The monthly competitions have been a fantastic success, and Smart-Trike hope that as a result families are remembering and enjoying traditional outdoor pursuits such as jumping in puddles, feeding the birds and of course triking! Still as popular with today’s children riding a trike is a fantastic way to get the recommended daily dose of exercise.
Smart-Trike really have revolutionised the tricycle market with their new exclusive patented technology; the Swivel Wheel, which enables parents to power steer the trike with the slightest touch. This new award-winning range, led by their two latest trikes, the Dream™ and the Safari, really mark them apart as industry leaders.
Commenting on the award win Marketing Manager Guy Rob said; ‘We are delighted to have won ‘Best Play Brand’ at the NI awards. At Smart-Trike we are committed to developing the best products to ensure families are able to spend as much time as possible playing and enjoying the great outdoors so this is a real honour. We’d like to thank everyone who voted for us, and hope that families across the UK continue to recognise us a brand that is dedicated to outdoor play.’
