Little Tikes launches new STEM range
New range takes educational principles behind STEM and turns them into playtime for children
Little Tikes is launching a new STEM range in Autumn 2018.
Michelle Lilley, Head of Marketing at Little Tikes, said: “We’re extremely proud of our new STEM line, which is bringing something completely new, unique and exciting to the marketplace. We know how important it is to teach children about science, technology, engineering and maths - and this line will introduce these core subjects at a very young age through hands-on play. As with all of our Little Tikes products, we want to ignite curiosity and creativity – combined with a whole lot of fun."
Central to the line is key product, the Wonder Lab. Designed for children aged three years and upwards, the Wonder Lab is the ultimate STEM activity toy that really brings the magic of science to life.
With over 20 unique experiments and over 50 accessories, sounds and phrases, the Wonder Lab features a Circuit Centre, where children can ‘power up’ hands-on play, a potion-making Wizard’s Brew and a mix and match Ball Maze.
Also key to the range is the awe-inspiring Tornado Tower, a two-in-one tornado and lava lamp (also 3+). Little ones can create a ‘real’ tornado by filling the toy with water and using the joy stick to make it whirl – or make their own lava lamp by adding household ingredients and using the control panel to add air bubbles.
The new line also includes the Builder Bots (3+) – multi-part bots that can be refigured in different ways to get fun reactions. A great introduction to engineering, the brightly coloured Builder Bots come with fun experiment cards for endless hours of creative play.
The STEM line will launch in Autumn 2018 and be supported by a heavyweight PR, influencer, digital, TV and retailer campaign.
