Dad's Choice Awards 2018 open for entries
Suppliers can enter in 20 categories for these unique awards
Entries are now open for the Dad's Choice Awards 2018, with the deadline for final entries on Friday 28 September.
All entries can be made online at www.dadschoiceawards.co.uk.
Now in its sixth year, these are the only UK awards dedicated to dads and their children. There are 20 different categories manufacturers, suppliers and distributors can enter, including Puzzles, Educational/STEM, Models, Fun Toys, Outdoor Games, Travel Games and Ride On vehicles.
An experienced team of Dad’s Choice super testers are ready to get their hands on the toys and with their children decide which ones are the best. Only those that meet the critical standards of the Dad testers and their children will win a coveted award. Every entry will be matched to a Dad’s Choice tester with children of the right age. The samples sent out to the super testers are evaluated on their creativity, fun factor, value for money and whether they live up to the hype on the box!
“We’ve already been contacted by our Super Dad testers who are ready to find out which entries they will be testing," said David Ross, founder of Dads Choice Awards. "Over the last six years, our Dad’s children have grown to look forward to this task. Following last year’s huge number of entries, we’ve recruited more testers than ever before. Dad’s spending time with children playing, making and building creates life long memories which is what our awards are all about.
"Every single entry proves that there’s plenty of choice out there that Dad’s will love. We’ve had support from amazing brands over the years including V-Tech, Spinmaster, John Adams, Flair, Character, Playmobil, Bananagrams and Ravensburger to name a few. We cannot wait to see what 2018 has in store for our Dads.”
The Dads Choice Awards 2018 are open to any toy, game, puzzle, App, electronic device which meets the category criteria. Toys must be available to purchase in the UK and available for sale between January 1 2018 and before December 31 2018. However, they may have been on sale before this date. It should be suitable for children aged 0 to 16 years.
Winning products will be promoted via a PR campaign which is included in the admin fee of the entry. Last year’s winners featured across Bauer Media (50 titles), parenting blogs, women’s lifestyle and newspapers.
