Nuremberg details Toy Business Forum talks

The schedule for this year's Toy Business Forum at Nuremberg Toy Fair has been revealed.
From 30 January to 3 February 2019, experts at the Toy Business Forum in Hall 3A will shed light on how independent retailers and buyers can adapt to the challenges the market throws at them. Only by understanding today the challenges of tomorrow can retailers gain a clear competitive edge. Trends and innovations as well as digitalisation and change management are among the topics facing the toy industry.
Taking place from 1pm to 3pm, the focus will be on a different overarching theme every day. Visitors can attend the talks free of charge and without booking in advance.
The Toy Business Forum highlights the most important aspects affecting businesses in the coming year and helps participants prepare for the future. The series of presentations kicks off on Wednesday with a focus on trends in sales and retail. These talks provide important market guidance and help attendees stay on the ball. The Thursday presentations revolve around the future of the bricks-and-mortar retail trade. Digitalisation and online trade offer great opportunities, but also conceal considerable pitfalls, making it imperative to have a clear strategy in place. On Friday, the emphasis shifts to the consumer. Only if retailers understand and know their customers well can they tailor their product ranges and services to their needs.
The Saturday will be under the banner of Change Management. The keynote speaker, best-selling author an and international management consultant Dr. Peter Kreuz, has a way of drumming up enthusiasm for new ideas. Known for his unorthodox thinking and ability to motivate others, he will have an encouraging message for those wanting to make an impact in business. His presentation is entitled Dynamite for Free Thinkers. The talks on Sunday present innovative marketing strategies for the coming decade. Influencer marketing and storytelling are just some of the buzzwords in this field.
