Fog of Love strengthens UK marketing

Playtime PR have been hired by board game Fog of Love to handle a mainstream consumer media relations project in the run-up to Christmas.
The premium board game was designed by Jacob Jaskov, who wanted to create a game he could play with his wife that didn’t focus on winning or losing, but on telling fun, memorable stories. Originally launched in 2016 on Kickstarter and smashing its goal to raise over $160,000, the game’s already proving popular with the gaming community and now it aims to break through to mainstream audiences with its accessible role-play theme, stylish aesthetic and innovative built-in tutorial.
Labelled “the most beautifully packaged game I’ve seen in years” by Forbes.com, Fog of Love hails from the land of hygge, Denmark, and features a stand-out clean and sophisticated design that wouldn’t look out of a place on a coffee table.
Fog of Love (RRP £47.99) has already seen commercial success across the pond where it’s the top selling board game on Walmart.com.
