Magformers reach thousands of kids with a summer of demos
Magformers implemented its most fun-filled demonstration programme to date this summer - with live shows across multiple retail and festival locations in the UK and Ireland.
Some of the country’s largest toy retailers, department stores and garden centres hosted Magformers as the company continued to expand its experiential marketing campaign.
Retailers who featured live Magformers demonstration roadshows included Hamleys, John Lewis, Smyths Toys, Fenwick, Bentalls, Eason and Dobbies, while Magformers demonstration manager, Matt Donald, also performed at the Carfest, Geronimo and Gloworm family festivals.
At selected Fenwick stores, Magformers also ran special ‘Magtastic Geometry Workshops’ with all participants awarded a certificate at the end of the sessions.
David Kelly, Magformers MD said: “Consumer interaction with Magformers has been higher than ever this year and this is reflected in another year of double digit growth for our brand – not just with partners where we’ve run demonstrations, but across the board.
“This year has seen some of the toughest-ever trading conditions in the toy industry, but we believe that our commitment to an innovative and comprehensive demonstration programme continues to pay dividends and raise the profile of Magformers as a significant player in the construction toy category.”
Magformers is currently finalising its pre-Christmas demonstration schedule, which is expected to see daily demonstrations running during October to December.
