Bandai creates Princess Kate designs for Harumika

Bandai has teamed up with an upcoming fashion designer to create mini replicas of Kate Middleton’s most iconic outfits using Harumika.

The designer Chloe Bayly 24, created the range of Kate Middleton inspired outfits, including her prediction of what Kate’s wedding dress will look like.

The Princess Kate catwalk includes a replica of the Issa engagement dress, her notorious see-through dress and the ‘Titan’ dress by Alice Temperley. Other outfits in this capsule collection include the Reiss dress that Kate wore for her official engagement photos by Mario Testino, the Burberry trench and the two piece red suit Kate wore when she returned to St Andrews with William.

Step-by-step “get the Princess Kate look” tutorials have been filmed and posted on YouTube (www.youtube.com/user/BandaiUK) enabling girls to recreate the outfits for themselves utilising the award winning wrap and tuck technique and any materials they can find.

Vicki Elmer, girls’ product manager for Bandai commented: "After the fantastic response we had to our Lady Gaga collection earlier this year it made perfect sense to celebrate the Royal Wedding and make some of Kate Middleton’s most famous outfits too. The YouTube videos help budding fashion lovers to create their favourite trends and outfits they see on their role models."
