No 'Ouija' movie for Hasbro
Universal has ditched all plans to make 'Ouija' - a movie based on Hasbro's classic game board
The studio now has to pay the toymaker a $5 million fee as Universal had made the deal with Hasbro back in 2008.
It seems that the studio had concerns over the budget of the film. This is now the second major Hasbro movie that Universal has back out of, after it scrapped plans to make a film on the popular board game 'Clue'.
However, Universal is set to release Hasbro's 'Battleship' movie next May. It has been reported that Universal is closely evaluating 'Stretch Armstrong' and 'Candyland' for possible movie releases.
