Wowee and Turner plan Test Tube Alien drive
WowWee UK has teamed up with Turner Media for a seven week burst of activity around the Electronic Test Tube Aliens brand from Wild Planet.
The campaign implores young freedom fighters to hatch an evil alien and learn its secrets to help save earth.
The campaign includes a new commercial showing how to join the ‘Human Defence Force’ against the Electronic Test Tube Aliens, which is planned to deliver over 350 TVRs.
Turner Media Innovations will run a seven-week webdrive promotion on Cartoon Network, training the ‘Human Defence Force’ in how to treat their aliens to obtain vital secrets. On air until the end of March, the campaign is set deliver 225 TVRs and will be supported by an online campaign delivering 900,000 impressions.
A 20” webdrive spot will point kids to kids to a microsite hosted at www.cartoonnetwork.co.uk where they can learn how to hatch and keep the aliens alive in a ‘pre-interrogation holding pen’ mini-game. Once they have played the game, kids are invited to enter a competition for the chance to win their very own set of aliens and a laptop for 'cross examination' purposes.
