New faces at Worlds Apart

Worlds Apart has appointed Emily MacLennan and Craig Lawton to its executive board as category director and financial director respectively.

Worlds Apart says its lifestyle business has grown by double digits in the past year and is planning for a 50 per cent increase in turnover by the end of 2015.

 “Over the last few months we have been carrying out a strategic review of the business and creating a 3-5 year plan that satisfies the ambitions of the Worlds Apart team and its shareholders,” said Neil Shinner, MD.

“To achieve this plan, we needed to develop the team at Worlds Apart and give managers wider responsibilities and ownership. Emily and Craig’s appointments are a first step in this process and reflect the organisational responsibility to drive this future growth.

“We believe this announcement demonstrates that the Board is committed to finding and developing the best people, from both within and outside, to help drive this remarkable business forward and achieve our vision of becoming the most successful lifestyle product company in the UK.”
