Esdevium signs award-winning Discworld game

Esdevium Games will be the exclusive distributor of the Ankh Morpork board game, based on the popular Discworld series of books by Sir Terry Pratchet.

The game, dues for release from September in the UK, was designed by Martin Wallace of Treefrog games and was voted the best board game at the UK Games Expo.

The making of the game was assisted by the Discworld Emporium, of Somerset, which has over 20 years experience of working with Sir Terry Pratchett and creating Discworld artwork that has been used in books, films and their own product ranges.

Bernard Pearson, of the Discworld Emporium commented: "We knew that 'Ankh-Morpork' had the right 'Discworld' credentials as Sir Terry had been involved from the start, but realistically it was only after the game had been exposed to the games community that we would know whether or not it had ticked all the boxes.”
