Worlds Apart and LEGO light up new partnership

Worlds Apart and LEGO Group have announced their first collaboration with the launch of a LEGO licensed Go Glow Light.

Worlds Apart’s Go Glow range of products is designed to provide fun as well as reassurance. The three in one Go Glow Light consists of a rechargeable night light, a torch with colour change disk and an interchangeable LEGO mini figure. The night light with a fun LEGO brick design offers a soft glow to the room at night and the cone transforms into a handy torch when lifted from the base.

Speaking about the partnership, Worlds Apart’s licensing manager, Lucy Wynn Jones commented: “Our design team have once again brilliantly interpreted the licence to come up with what we believe will be another winning product in the Go Glow range. With so many LEGO fans out there, this three in one Go Glow will appeal to all boys who enjoy collecting and playing with the mini figures and will love the idea of giving each of the characters different moods.

“We had an absolutely fantastic response from buyers at Toy Fair regarding our collaboration and we are pleased to say that this is just the first of what will be a number of new LEGO products in our range going forward,” Lucy added.

Melissa Wallace, UK licensing manager from LEGO commented: “We are thrilled with the LEGO Go Glow. It can be challenging finding partners who can reflect the LEGO brand values of quality, fun and creativity in their products at the same high standards that we have for our toy ranges but this certainly ticks all the boxes, especially as a child can use and swap their favourite mini figures in and out. We’re certainly looking forward to the wider range which will be coming to market in spring 2012.”
