New plush toy licensee for Talking Friends

Soundn Light Animatronics Co Ltd., has been named animated plush toylicensee for Out Fit 7 Ltd’s hugely popular Talking Friends collectionof apps

Sound n Light, the Hong-Kong-based animated plushcompany for major retailers worldwide, and Talking Friends were broughttogether by Talking Friends’ global brand licensing agency, Beanstalk.

With300 million downloads and counting, Talking Friends characters likeTalking Tom the Cat and Talking Ben the Dog are among the hottestentertainment characters in the world.

Under the terms of theagreement brokered by Beanstalk, Sound n Light will transform theanimated characters into a fun, interactive feature plush set to hitretail by Holiday 2012.

Gearing toward a Holiday 2012 launch,Sound n Light will introduce a collection of plush characters that willmimic many of the same functions that have made the app game so popularand endearing.  

Just like the engaging app, when kids talk tothe cuddly plush Talking Friends favourites Tom and Ben, they willrecord the messages and speak them back in their own signature funnyvoices. Also in the works is a plush Tom that purrs and sighs with kids’every poke.
