Hasbro strengthens brand licensing and publishing team
European team is re-inforced
Hasbro expands its European licensing team, naming Markus Pfitzner as Senior Licensing Director for Northern Europe.
Mr Pfitzner joins recently appointed Senior Category Manager, Maya Moskvicheva who oversees the licensing programs in Russia.
Effective January 2012, Izabella Tumiłowicz has been appointed Senior Licensing Manager CEE Region overseeing the licensing programs in Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and other CE-markets.
“We are investing in our teams and structure and looking forward to working closely with retailers and licensees in these markets” said James Walker, Vice President of Brand Licensing and Publishing for EMEA at Hasbro. “Markus, Izabella and Maya will add strength to Hasbro licensing with their competence and significant experience, a powerful asset to our business going forward”.
In his post as Senior Licensing Director for Northern Europe, Mr. Pfitzner will be based in Germany and oversee Hasbro licensing activities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Central & Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. Mr. Pfitzner joined the European team on 1st February 2012 after a successful decade at Mattel as Licensing Director and prior to that, as Brand Manager at Nintendo.
Ms. Tumiłowicz joined the Licensing team on 16th January 2012, is based in Hasbro’s Warsaw office after her successful career with Mattel, where she established the licensing business in 19 CEE countries over a period of almost 10 years.
