Help the Toy Trust raise £45,000
This year the Toy Trust, the BTHA’s charity arm is challenged to raise £45,000 through the Character Costume FUNdraiser Day
You and your company can help the Toy Trust achieve this fund-raising goal by entering a team in the Toy Trust FUNdraiser Day at Rutland Water on Friday 22nd June.
Events start at 10am prompt (arrival from 9am please). Not only will your company be helping disabled and disadvantaged children but at the same time you’ll have a great day out and build team spirit within your business!
The event will comprise of the following events (not necessarily in the following order):
1. 27km bike Ride
2. 7km run
3. Costume three legged race
4. Costume egg & spoon race
5. Costume build a raft and race it on the reservoir
Your team members can enter as many or as few events as possible so everyone can participate, however athletic or adventurous! Obviously we’d encourage you to enter all and with more points from each event, the trophy could be yours.
Here’s what we need you to do to help:
· Enter a team in the event NOW by contacting matt@btha.co.uk with your team name, company name and expected number of participants – 6 per team (companies can enter a second team or individuals/couples can contact matt@btha.co.uk to join another team). We ask each participant to raise a minimum of £250 sponsorship for the event …our goal is £5,000 per team !
· Set up your sponsorship page at www.virginmoneygiving.com search for ‘The Toy Trust’ and create your personal fundraising page in connection with ours. Or collect your money in house and make one total team transfer post event to the Toy Trust account.
· Organise your own travel to the event.
