Namco Bandai to develop Star Trek - The Video Game

Paramount sign up game developer to publish new video game for PC.

The movie is slated for a 2013 release and will be followed by a brand new video game, giving players co-operative control of Captain Kirk and Spock.

The game is named Star Trek - The Video Game, which follows the crew as the battle against a "familiar and lethal enemy". It has been written by Marianne Krawczyk and two co-writers of 2009's Star Trek.
