New TV campaign claims to be cheaper than its rival
Asda is significantly upping the ante in its war against Argos with a television campaign which highlights the claim that its big ticket electronic products are cheaper than those sold by its rival.
The 'Big toy rollback' launched earlier this month which compares prices on toy brands with Argos and they have replicated this idea with the electronics sector.
The supermarket giant suggest it has invested £10m in the 'Big toy rollback’, which is music to the ears of the consumers and the toy suppliers and manufacturers, but brings nothing but headaches to the independent toy retailers.
